We at APAC have our annual signature events and community activities and we invite you to attend, participate, volunteer, and spread the word about all of them!
This dinner and awards ceremony is one of the premier events in the San Diego Asian American Community, as community leaders, business executives, nonprofits, and elected officials come together to recognize significant leaders in our community who influence change and champion civic engagement. We recognize rising stars and seasoned community figures with award, as well as provide scholarships to deserving students.
A highly anticipated recurring event, we invite all candidates running at all levels of public office to introduce themselves and meet the community. The candidates and community then have an opportunity to meet each other in a “speed dating” style of question and answers. A play on “Knights of the Round Table,” this event brings the community straight to the table and face to face with our future elected officials.
We at APAC want everyone to know the importance of registering to vote, informing yourself on the candidates and issues, and actually voting on election day or mailing in your ballot! Let’s be sure everyone in the community knows about the importance of the November election! Let’s all make an effort to Get Out The Vote!
